香港TF International Securities社のアナリストであるミンチー・クオ氏が、iPhone以外のLightning採用製品（AirPods、Magic Keyboard、Magic Trackpad、Magic Mouse、MagSafeバッテリーパックなど）も近い将来USB-Cに切り替わるだろうと予想しています。
クオ氏は先日、2023年後半に発売される「iPhone 15」はポートがLightningからUSB-Cに変更されるだろうとツイートしていました。
ポートを搭載しないiPhoneについては、現在のワイヤレス技術に制限があり、MagSafeエコシステムも未成熟としており、実現はまだ先のようです。
